Home to the 1976 Olympics in Canada but sadly the park is left falling into near ruins

Here are some recent images from Canada where I grew up as a 4 y old child attending kindergarten and where my love for Sport began with the 1976 Olympics in Montreal.
I can recall sitting with my father in our friends home in County Tipperary watching Eamon Coghlan finishing 4th for Ireland in the 1500 metres behind the black-vested Gold medal winner from New Zealand, John Walker.
One of the greatest of all the modern Olympics because it gave us household names such as: Sugar Ray Leonard; Nadia Commanache; Teofilo Stevenson and Lasse Viren.
Unfortunately, the Montreal Stadium has been shamefully left to fall into ruin and looks almost derelict. But it will always hold memories and leave…
Legendary names that will never be forgotten.
